The Niagara Tenpin Bowling Association is accepting applications for the position of
Association Manager for our volunteer based association as of August 1, 2012.

Basic qualifications are:
• strong customer skills
• have the ability to work on your own
• familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, e-mail, internet and accounting programs
• have knowledge of tenpin bowling

2012 NTBA Annual General Meeting

The Niagara Tenpin Bowling Association will be holding its Annual General Membership Meeting on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 2:30 pm at the Parkway Convention Centre, Ontario St., St. Catharines.

At this meeting we will be holding elections for 6 directors for a 3-year term and CTF/OTBA delegates for a 1-year term.
A candidate to be eligible for nomination as a director or delegate must be the following:
1. a member in good standing of the Niagara Tenpin Bowling Association at the time of election and throughout their term of office
2. elected or appointed without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, disability, national origin, or age, other than the minimum age of 18 years
3. collectively be reasonable representative of males and females

Nominating forms are attached and must be filled out completely and signed by the nominee and the person making the nomination. Please have these forms submitted to the Nominating Committee Chair, Charlotte Konkle, by April 18, 2012.

Nominations from the floor will be taken provided the nominating form has been submitted to the Nominating Committee Chair at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the opening of the annual meeting and must be read by the Nominating Committee Chair.

2012 NTBA Hall of Fame Tournament

The Annual NTBA Hall of Fame Tournament is being held this weekend (March 3 & 4), with 2 shifts on Saturday (1:00 & 3:30) and Sunday (1:15 & 3:45) at Cataract Bowl with a guaranteed pay out of $1000 to first place.

This year the tournament is open to all CTF & USBC sanctioned bowlers. (Non-NTBA bowlers must provide proof of averages for the 2010-2011 season)

NTBA 2012 Association Junior Tournament

The Niagara Tenpin Bowling Association will be holding their annual Junior Tournament the weekend of January 28th & 29th at Fairview Lanes in St. Catharines.

2012 NTBA Scratch Tournament Results

Congratulations to Jim Creasor for defeating Mark Decman 203-178 in the final round of the NTBA Scratch Tournament. Jim received a first round by courtesy of being the highest qualifier with a 1029. He then went on to defeat Cody Rosa 228-180 in the quarter finals and Johnathon Kroll 217-178 in the semi final.

Mark journey to the finals was a tough road as he narrowly defeated Joe Ciach 225-223 in the first round. He then knocked off Shawn Legge 218-185 in the quarter finals and edged out John Szczerbinski 246-245 in the semi final.

2012 NTBA Scratch Tournament

On Saturday January 7th, the Niagara Tenpin Bowling Association will be holding it annual Scratch Tournament at Parkway Lanes.

Shifts will start at 1:00 & 3:30. Entry for each shift closed 15 minutes before the start of the shift so be sure to arrive early.

The NTBA will be holding its annual Youth-Adult tournament on November 19 @ 1:00pm. The tournament will be held at Cataract Bowl in Niagara Falls.
