
The Men's Association was initially chartered as the Humberstone Tenpin Bowling Association
February 18th 1942. On November 12th, 1952 it was changed to the Port Colborne Tenpin Bowling Association.
It was renamed to the Niagara Peninsula Tenpin Bowling Association on December 7th, 1955. The Women's Association
was chartered as the Niagara Peninsula W.B.A on October 22nd 1979. In 1973 the Junior Bowling Association started
at Midtown Lanes in Niagara Falls. Effective August 1st 2004 the Men's Women's and Youth Associations
join together and form the present Niagara Tenpin Bowling Association.

The annual Ontario Provincial Championship Tournament will be held for 4 weekends from May 1 to May 23, 2010 at Rose Bowl, Windsor.
There are 3 divisions – women’s, men’s and mixed. The entry fee is $25 per person for each event plus $5 per person for all events.
The tournament director is Wayne Dubs and the entry forms have been mailed out to last year’s captains and can be obtained by going to the website – www.otba.ca under Tournaments.

The Ontario Provincial Youth tournament will be held for 3 weekends from May 1 to May 16, 2010 at Parkway Lanes in St.Catharines.
The tournament director is Jayne Picott and entry forms and all other information are available on the website – www.otba.ca – under Youth tournaments.
If you have time, come out to watch the provincial youth bowl – they are the future of our sport. If you have time to volunteer,

The CTF Canadian Youth Champions will be held May 27-30, 2010 at Parkway Lanes, St. Catharines.

The annual meeting of OTBA will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2010 – place TBA – and at that time, our own Jack Erb will be
inducted into the OTBA Hall of Fame posthumously.
Niagara is very proud of this and the tremendous contribution made by Jack to both the provincial association and Niagara TBA.
