
The Hall of Fame in the Niagara area is to honour, pay tribute and perpetuate the names of the members who have contributed to the
growth and welfare of tenpin bowling in our association through their bowling achievements or meritorious service, even if
posthumously.
Criteria for Nominations
article 1, the name
The name shall be established as the Niagara Tenpin Bowling Association Hall of Fame, and shall be referred to
hereafter as
The Hall of Fame.
article 2, categories
There Shall be two categories under which a person may be nominated to the hall of fame:
1. Distinguished performance on the lanes
2. meritorious service
article 3, eligibility requirements
Section 1
Election to the hall of fame in either category shall be open to any individual who is now or has been a member in good standing of
Niagara's sanctioned bowling associations and has met the requirements set out in these regulations.
Section 2
To be Eligible for induction to the hall of fame, a nominee must have been a member in good standing in our Association for a
period of at least ten years.
Section 3
To be eligible for induction to the hall of fame, nominees must have contributed in any manner to Niagara's sanctioned bowling
associations, for a period of 10 years, not necessarily consecutively. A candidate must be a person who has demonstrated outstanding
service, devotion and ideals over many years of involvement in tenpin bowling. These contributions must be more than the normal
achievements of the game. A person who is now or ever was under suspension by a sanctioning organization is ineligible.

NOMINATION FORM
Nominations to the Hall of Fame may be made by any member of the Niagara Tenpin Bowling Association who is in good standing. The
nomination must be in writing in a sealed envelope together with a resume of the achievements of the nominee. The envelope should
be clearly marked to the attention of the chairperson of The Hall of Fame. One nomination per year per person is allowed. If the
nominee is not accepted the application shall be retained for two voting years. After three election years, names must be resubmitted.
A majority of the hall of fame committee must be in favor of the nominee. (see contacts for committee)
